The time has come where we all are waiting for, yes the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 schedule is out. The battle begins to be the best in the world from Friday, May 30 until Sunday, July 14, and the final will be played at Lord’s.

ICC Cricket World Cup 2019

The 2019 release of the World Cup starts on 30 May as England take on the mighty South Africa at The Oval. Instead of 14 or even 16 teams like in 2007, it will be reduced to ten teams in 2019. The 2019 tournament will be played under a new structure that hasn’t been seen since 1992.

The 46 days tournament will be played in 11 world class venues with the top four semi-finals qualifying in Manchester and Birmingham. The league stage has been slightly revised to ensure that all teams play with each other in the group stage in ROUND ROBIN FORMAT and four advances in the semi – finals, meaning that each team has nine games.

Fixtures to watch:

Ruling World Cup Champions Australia will begin the title defence at the Bristol Day – Night encounter against the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier Champions Afghanistan. Two – time champions, India, will launch their outbreak against South Africa at Southampton on 5 June.

Additionally, the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 devices contain a number of engaging games at the events. This includes the restart of the Lord’s Trans-Tasman Day Night contest on June 29, when Australia will compete against New Zealand. On 16 June, most of India’s and Pakistan’s outstanding adversaries take one another in Old Trafford, while on 25 June Australia co-ordinates England in Lord’s. Pakistan will begin its World Cup campaign against the two – time Champions West Indies in Nottingham on 31 May, Pakistan being reigning ICC Championship Trophy winners and 1992 World Cup winners, it will be exciting to see how they come up to their people’s expectations.
